Stone Lantern

This lantern is made using aged stone or polished aged stone. It's built from two parts, a base and a top. In real life, they originated in China, which were used for Buddhist temples and gardens. Some time later, and with the expansion of buddihsm, they were brought to Japan. Its function is purely decorative.

Base

A base is needed first to craft a stone lantern. To craft it, place aged stone or polished aged stone slabs and blocks on the crafting table grid like this:

Top

The top goes on top of the base which holds any Minecraft lantern inside by right clicking it. To craft it, place aged stone or polished aged stone slabs and blocks on the crafting table grid like this:
